A few days ago, we examined the LG Optimus 3D mobile phones. Today, we’re extending our LG reviews and comparing the other two LG Optimus models – the LG Optimus 2X and the LG Optimus E900. We’ll take a look at other LG models in another post.

Overviews

While the LG Optimus 3D was the first glasses-free 3D mobile phone, the LG Optimus 2X was the first mobile phone to offer dual-core processing, designated by the 2X in the model name. Originally known as the LG Star, the first Tegra 2 smartphone used the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. Early in 2011, experts paired the Optimus 2X with the HTC Incredible S.

The LG Optimus E900 mobile phone captures the spotlight for its sharing slant: From streaming HD videos to transmitting streamed material to a compatible HD TV to social network sharing ease, the Optimus E900 is touted as a socializing mobile phone.
